Objective of Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana
The primary objective of this scheme is to:
- Provide scholarships to children of CM-KISAN beneficiaries.
- Support Small and Marginal Farmers (SF/MF) and Landless Agricultural Households (LAH).
- Promote higher education in technical and professional fields.
- Improve the economic and social condition of farmer families in Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana, students must meet the following:
- Parent must be a CM-KISAN beneficiary under the cultivation or livelihood component.
- The student must have secured admission on merit in a Government/Private Institution having an AISHE code.
- Students admitted in self-financing courses are eligible as per the capped fee structure.
- Students cannot avail more than one scholarship at a time.
- Students of Private Institutes outside Odisha are not eligible.
- The scholarship can be availed for only one professional course per student.
